HOOVER BCCI 2025 TBJ #8

BCCI 2025 TBJ #8 - $500.

This Silver Nickel Buck 112 drop point, has the Buck Knives BCCI engraving on the back of the ricasso and the knife is signed by the artist on the back of the rocker arm.  You have to look inside the blade well to find my well hid signature.  The cost of this knife is $500. as this is the last of this Jadeite in my possession.

This Jade is very translucent and in hand you see “features” in the Jadeite when holding the knife.    These and the texture showing, if you look for it, are reflections in the Tremolite fibers aligned in the stone structures.

I bought this as a large windowed cobble in 2007 as a display piece as the window showed only a very dark green with black flecks and internal structures showing.  When I started cutting it the first slabs are the 112 on the far left in the group photo and the last scales on the right were the last two slabs.  The tiny piece showing with the rinds of slabs was part of the window.  I believe this is the rarest of the Jade and Jadeites I have ever worked with and very likely worth more than the BCCI asking price.  In hand these knives look better than in the photos!
